Weaving Story

Cotton tissue threads find their purpose in the exquisite art of Jamdani weaving—a fusion of tradition, skill, and elegance.  Cotton tissue threads are delicate strands spun from pure cotton fibers. The process begins with harvesting cotton, separating the fibers from seeds, and spinning them into yarn. These threads are then dyed and wound onto bobbins, ready for the loom.

Skilled weavers create intricate designs directly on the loom, using a discontinuous supplementary weft technique. The transparent weave results in lightweight, breathable fabric—ideal for warm climates.
