Shipping Policies

Domestic :

  1. Shipping within India is currently free irrespective of the number of items bought. This policy can be changed in future without further notice.
  2. Orders are delivered within 7 to 8 working days. Unless otherwise specifically mentioned in the product details. Any delays will be communicated to the client via email.
  3. If your area pin code is classified as a remote area, your order may take longer to be delivered.
  4. Delivery of all orders will be duly done to the address as mentioned by you at the time of placing the order. In case of modifications, kindly drop us a mail at info@kathatale.com within 2 hours of placing the order.
  5. Once your order has been processed and shipped, the details of tracking number and information of the shipping agency will be shared via email/ Whatssap/ SMS.
  6. Orders can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping partner’s website
  7. Orders will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at the time of checkout. Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package 3 (three) times before it is returned to us. In case it is returned to us after 3 attempts, no refunds will be entertained.
  8. Please provide the complete and accurate shipping address including PIN CODE and a contact number to ensure faster and hassle-free delivery.
  9. Shipping charges for our international customers will be calculated separately and please reach out to our customer care number +91-7439678095 or email us at info@kathatale.com before placing your order. We are currently not accepting any international booking through website.

International:

  1. Shipping charges for our international customers will be calculated during check out depending on the order value and dimensions of your order
  2. Any custom charges or VAT has to be borne by the customer (Our IEC is  ABBFK9537C )
  3. Our delivery partner is FEDEX/ DHL/ Aramex (via Delhivery) .
  4. From 1st July 2021, VAT would be applicable on all shipments delivered in EU. The duty and VAT has to be borne by the customers. 
  5. Orders are delivered within 10 – 14 working days. Unless otherwise specifically mentioned in the product details. 
  6. Delivery of all orders will be duly done to the address as mentioned by you at the time of placing the order. In case of modifications, kindly drop us a mail at info@kathatale.com within 2 hours, of placing order.
  7. The deliveries are dispatched to the shipping address recorded at checkout.
  8. Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry, and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported.
  9. Customers pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency at the time of order delivery. If a customer refuses to pay these charges and therefore delivery is not possible, no refunds will be entertained.
  10. Custom duties and charges are determined by the destination country’s regulations, and we have no control over them. We recommend checking with your local customs office for estimated fees before placing an order.

Please Note:

  • We do not accept Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option.
  • Shipments don’t go out on Sundays and public holidays.
  • The delivery timeline is indicative and while every effort is made to ensure that orders are delivered within the stipulated time, this cannot be guaranteed due to factors outside our control.



FAQs

  • What is the estimated delivery time?

    The delivery time varies from cities to cities. Typically, it takes 3-4 days for all metros & Tier 1 cities. Tier 2 & 3 cities may take 3 to 5 days. Some cities in North East India & J&K etc. may take minimum 5 to a maximum of 7 days. Due to unforeseen reasons, there might be delay in shipments and would appreciate your patience. We would let you know in case there is any delay in shipment.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, we offer hassle-free worldwide shipping! Delivery times and charges vary depending on your location.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Domestic orders usually take 5-7 business days, while international orders may take up to 14 days. We provide tracking details for all shipments.

  • Are there any shipping charges?

    No, shipping charges within India is free at the moment. However, the policies can be changed over the period of time, and same will be updated in this section.

  • How does the delivery process work?

    Katha uses reputed logistics provider/partner to deliver products to your doorsteps. Once your order is placed, one of our logistic partners would pick the product from us and deliver it to you.

  • How can I track the delivery of my order?

    Once your order is placed, Katha assigns your order to one of our logistics partners. An WhatsApp would be sent to your registered phone number with the details of the logistics partner along with the AWB#. You can track the order using the AWB# on their respective website 24 hours after your order is shipped out.

  • What should I do if I miss the delivery?

    We understand that you can’t wait at home (or office – whatever your delivery address is) right from the time you’ve placed the order till it’s delivered to you. In case you have missed the order delivery, please write to us at info@kathatale.com or WhatsApp us on 7439678095 along with your order number and we will try to contact the courier partner from our end.

  • Do you have Cash-On-Delivery (COD)?

    Yes, we do give COD at major locations.

  • Do you deliver all over India?

    Yes, we do deliver all over India. If delivery service is not available through our partnered courier companies, we will ship your order through India Post.
