The Website Owner, including subsidiaries and affiliates (“www.kathatale.com” or “Katha A Tale of Weaves” or “we” or “us” or “our”) provides the information contained on the website or any of the pages comprising the website (“website”) to visitors (“visitors”) (cumulatively referred to as “you” or “your” hereinafter) subject to the terms and conditions set out in these website terms and conditions, the privacy policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which may be applicable to a specific section or module of the website.

Welcome to www.kathatale.com. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern www.kathatale.com’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term ‘Katha A Tale of Weaves’ ,‘www.kathatale.com’ , Katha or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is –

Return & Exchange Policies:

All sales are final and products are eligible only for return and exchanges for defects, size related issues or wrong products received, within 7 days of delivery if original packaging and tags are intact and the product is not used or washed.

All of our products are checked thoroughly before shipment. 

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In case you found any defect in the product and if that is eligible for a return, you need to share the full unpacking video starting from receiving the product till identifying the defect in a single video. 

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging along with the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at info@kathatale.com.

To exchange a product, our Customer Care Team should be contacted immediately or within 3 working days of receiving delivery with the intent of exchange or there shall be no refund after 3 working days, the order will be exchanged with the same valued products or credited in the wallet to use within 3 months from issue.

Exceptions / non-returnable items:

Products once sold or any customized items (such as special orders or personalized items) and items on discounts cannot be returned or exchanged or cancelled. 

Any saree ordered with fall and picot and ordered with Starch and Pleat or stitched are not eligible for return or exchange. Any product/item gifted by Katha A Tale of Weaves, cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns on gift cards.

PS: Please mention the order number in the subject line of the email to help us quickly process your exchange request. 

  • Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. 
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable. 
  • The shipping charges for sending the products back has to be borne by the customer. 
  • Once we have received the products a quality check would be done by our team. 
  • The amount refunded to you would be only for the products and not the shipping charges if any. 

REFUNDS:

If applicable, refunds will be made for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping only if asked within 3 days or credited to your wallet for future use bounded by a time frame of Three (3) months.

  1. Packages lost in transit. 
  2. A material defect has been found in the products) and we were intimated about the same within 3 working days with unpacking video mentioned above and the returned packages received was in correct condition with tags and invoices attached. 
  3. Refunds are granted only after receiving the returned shipment. 

No Refunds will be entertained under following circumstances: 

  1. Incorrect delivery address. 
  2. After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier. 
  3. Product returned is damaged due to use or misuse. 
  4. No Unpacking video provided for a defective product.
  5. The products returned have no tags and invoice attached to them. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: 

  • International orders are not eligible for returns or exchange.
  • If unfortunately, you have to cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped. 
  • If you cancel your order before your product has been shipped, we will give you a coupon code of the entire amount which can be used for future purchases within six months from the date as mentioned in the coupon.
  • If you receive any defective product, do contact us immediately by mailing us at info@kathatale.com with your Order Number and send us a snapshot & unpacking video of the defect. We will either provide you a credit note or a coupon code of the amount for that defected product. 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 

  • No refunds are entertained for international shipments if the recipient refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and does not collect the order from the Shipping agency. 
  • Please ensure that the delivery received is in good condition and has not been tampered with, before you sign off acceptance. 
  • In case of a damaged package, please retain the original packaging (along with price tags, invoices, labels etc.) until our team reviews it. Additionally, please ensure to write “Received Damaged” on the delivery receipt when accepting and signing off with the courier partner.
